Portfolio of work
For my Digital Project I teamed up with White Lantern Films, local award winning film company. We were able to take over their online presence and establish a relevant social media strategy to raise awareness and funding for their new thriller K-Shop. The project was successful with a 500% increase in Facebook and Twitter interaction and raising £12,500. I won Best Presentation and Results at the BU Student Showcase Competition for this work, presenting in front of key figures from the industry.
A big brief for us. Account Planning at its finest. For the 6 weeks leading up to a big pitch, we found an insight, proposition and wrote a creative brief concluding to our big idea. Clarks wanted to appeal to the younger market. We wanted consumers to believe Clarks act as an insurance, something you don't need to worry about and thats why it's worth the investment. With a social media strategy coherent to this campaign and relevant print ideas for ambient media, we were successful.
NSPCC, a traditional yet challenged brand. I chose NSPCC to assess, analyse and create in depth recommendations for a new online strategy.
I worked at Stride Treglown for a week in 2011; the company is an award winning architectural firm. It's in my portfolio because I was asked by an executive member of the team to write an article for their company. I wrote and published the article where it got attention from the CEO of the company who personally came to my floor and introduced himself. This outlines my ability to thrive in any professional environment to the full potential. Click below to read the article.
As one of the UK's biggest department retailers with big brands like MAC and Jack & Jones, Beales was a great project to be involved with. We were given the challenge of changing the way existing consumers bought their goods. Beales wanted higher online activity to remain up to date. We made Beales about the people and the environment, changing the brand essence to eco-friendly and community based. Our campaign was based on lowering your carbon footprint.
Waterstones are faced with the growing digital environment, elite competition and increasing popularity in the Kindle. I decided to review Waterstones as my research project. My recommendations suggest a complete rebrand of Waterstones online presence, creating virtual libraries and capitalising on pro-book communities.
Creativity at its finest. A new medium and a new challenge. Radio advertising, the theatre of the mind. Our brief was central to raising brand awareness of a new 1950s pop-up restaurant in London. We recorded two complimenting ads as a part of our campaign, with a digital strategy to publish along side this. The colloquial tone of the ads appealed to the nature of our audience. A successful pitch in my eyes.
